Benjamin Edward, patient in the general hospital, charged with disobedience of orders. George Brooks, Colonial Surgeon, testified, at the beginning of the present week I gave the prisoner in charge of two Mancchaw(?) to keep them employed and see that they did no mischief. I went to the lower hospital and found the prisoner and the two Mancchawi all sitting down. I know of no excuse he gave me none for being idle. It is part of the medical treatment that the Mancchawi should be kept employed. Guilty. Sentenced to 14 days in the cells
